Our new short film "Someone" is almost at the ready.

This was again created in collaboration with the director Marco Gadge, who also wrote the screenplay, "He and she"wrote the screenplay as well as directed. The short film "Someone" shows the experiences of the young Greta during the Second World War.

Germany in the year 1945: the country lies in ruins. The Nazis and their propaganda are still omnipresent, but the Red Army fights in the streets of the city for every metre. Meanwhile, Greta and her family hide in a basement and hope for mercy. But Greta's father, for good reason, suspects that the Soviets will take vengeance terribly. In the middle of this, the young woman has far more problems than war. There is a state of emergency and in the tangle between friend and foe, life and death, Greta tries to keep a clear head. "Someone" shows that a beginning is always possible.

But we don't want to reveal much more about the content at this point, because the first official trailer will follow in the next few months. We are delighted about the terrific cast. Among others, Elisabeth Orth, Jochen Nickel, Vladislav Grakovsky and Fabienne Haller are in the cast. The filming locations included Vienna, the cellars of Villa Hasenholz in Leipzig and the ruins of the Böllberger Mühle in Halle. Some of the music has just been recorded in the Netherlands and post-production in our office is in full swing. The moving story is expected to celebrate its premiere in Germany in January 2018. The film has also been submitted to various festivals internationally. Among others, it has already been accepted to participate in the Edmonton International Film Festival confirmed. You can already find more information and first photos from the film under Somebody in our productions. All news about "Irgendwer" will of course be published here at News Section on our homepage and via our Facebook Channel.
