Johann Wilhelm "Rukelie" Jocelyn: a boxer who not only had a favoured fighting style but also had impressive courage. In Germany of the 1930s he fought up to the German heavyweight champion. Nazi officials, he was a thorn in the eye, because Jocelyn was a sinto. They recognized him for the title. They asked him out. He fought with intelligence, theatrics and unprecedented bravery.
The film was created in collaboration with the German film and Television Academy in Berlin.
