Learn the basics of film editing
You are an editor, author or just a hobby filmmaker? You don't know how to make a film out of your shooting material? Then we now offer you the opportunity to learn the basics of film cutting in practice!
Our pictures touch the heart! We are creative minds and would like to share our years of professional experience and our knowledge with interested parties. We are in one media, a production company for film and television contributions from Leipzig. The company was founded in 1998 by our Managing director Mike Brandin in the beautiful city of Leipzig. Since then we have been working in the editorial field as an order producer for various TV magazines, producing high-quality advertising films, animations as well as award-winning short films and documentaries. In addition, we are committed to supporting the next generation and promote it with our annual film Festival KURZSUECHTIG. For modern and sustainable work we also count the sharing of our interfaces and our equipment – and our specialist knowledge!
For this reason, we usually offer a beginner's cut course once a month. Lecturer Mike Brandin is producer and editor with over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of documentaries, TV magazines, short films, music video and advertising. The course takes place on three evenings a week from 18-22 pm each. If there are enough interested parties, we also offer the course on weekends, i.e. 10-17 on Saturdays and Sundays. Here you can learn the first steps of film cutting from scratch. Our office is equipped with two avid Nitris DX slots with current versions of Media composer.
